To my sister,
Thank you. You practically raised me while our parents weren’t always there. Together we ate dinner after school and when you left for New York I never really got over it. We played Lion King and made (still do) pillow forts that cluttered our living room. We have living room sleepovers and spend time at Target. I make you cards and you spend too much on me every year. I don’t say it enough, so here goes. You mean so much to me. I love you.
From your little sister

When I’m dancing like
and some creep comes up behind me and dances like
And I turn around like
And he’s like
And I’m like
And I walk away like
And he play’s it off like
and then I see a fine shawdy dancing like
And I’m like
and I go over to him and we start dancing like
and then a bad ass song comes on, and we’re like
And the rejected guy looks at me like
And I’m like
and he’s like
and I’m like
>:) Just saying..

Dear CA friends,
Come to New York, be with me, make money, and then piss it all away on rent and food.
- T: I've been following you on Tumblr.
- F: Yeah... I made one so I can update my buds at home about the goings on in my life.
- T: Oh, I thought you got one so you can blog about Harry Potter.
I have been shamelessly reblogging lately and it’s making me feel cheap.
Birthday- Hands down, the best birthday. Ever. For the first time since I moved to New York, I wasn’t begging for people to be with me on my “special” day; and for the first time in a long time, my birthday gettogether didn’t seem obligatory. I feel immensely loved and incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people. Birthday weekend consisted of the usual text messages and phone calls at midnight, randar cards from friends and family, the HP premier, a pizza party, a crazy delicious steak dinner, a drunken bull’s penis tasting, and an unlimited mimosa brunch.
In terms of the presents, I inadvertantly hit the jackpot this year. Mickey mouse watch, Toy Story lunch box and thermos, Hunter boots, a mac book pro, guitar books, a capo, picks, and (drum roll) A NEW GUITAR!!! I actually cried when I saw it.

It’s hard to believe that only a year ago, I had made my 2010 New Years Resolutions to fall in love, find a job, learn the guitar, make new friends, volunteer, and pay off my credit card debt. It’s even harder to believe that I have done all of that, minus the credit card, and still with a month to spare. Life really does work in mysterious ways.
2011 resolutions include the following: get in better shape, take the gre/gmat and apply to grad school, travel more, oh, and still pay off credit card debt.
